Our Projects
Crown Leys Community Allotment with Friends of Berrycroft
Our Aylesbury Central Primary Care Network allotment at Crown Leys is a dedicated space for patients of Berrycroft Community Health Centre and Whitehill Surgery. Our allotment offers a serene environment where you can connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening.

We have developed the allotment making it suitable for disabled access. We are hoping to expand into more areas at Crown Leys with a view to providing spaces for consultations and health programs. We are making links with local schools to develop interest in growing and cooking vegetables.

BAG Cooking Project
A collaborative project involving three Aylesbury primary schools, delivering free healthy cooking workshops for children in school time. The initiative promotes healthy eating while teaching essential life skills, and helps to build confidence, teamwork, and independence in a fun and engaging way.

WOMAN
Our research at FoB discovered a desire for local Muslim women to become involved in martial arts. The WOMAN (Women Only Martial Arts Network) project is an initiative designed to empower women through martial arts training. It promotes physical fitness and self-defence skills while also building confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community in a private, inclusive environment.

Aylesbury TeenRun
Aylesbury TeenRun is a totally free running club for 12-19 year olds in the Berrycroft catchment. It's run by England Athletics trained, DBS checked, first-aid ready run leaders, a joint project with Bearbrook Running and Triathlon Club.
We spend an hour on Saturday mornings doing different types of running with young people of any level of experience. TeenRun provides a fun, sociable, supportive and inclusive environment where young people can build confidence in their running, develop their fitness, and feel part of a community.
